Every BestNuru starts here. Each gold disc is one thing our inspectors check on every visit, and the first Rosette is earned only where all four meet: the Nuru Standard.

The method
People vote, we check, we award
You vote
Verified customers vote for the best nuru in their city and their area, once a month, and rate their visits.
We check
The top 10 in Bangkok and the top 5 in Pattaya become Nominees. Each gets three anonymous visits in three different months, with a therapist picked at random.
We award
Three Rosettes, three things: Service, the Team and the House. Service comes first: without it, a shop can only earn an Honourable Mention.

The Nuru Standard on every visit: a complete session, real skill and effort, documented training, regular health checks verified, and hygiene. Required.

An outstanding team in our inspectors' judgement, or a very large one: more than 25 therapists on shift a day.

The House
The venue, food and drinks, front-of-house staff, how fast and how well they answer bookings, and the attitude from the door to goodbye.
Honourable Mention. For a shop that stands out on the Team or the House but doesn't yet reach the Service standard. It names what stands out; it isn't a Rosette.
The distinction
What a winner receives
A Rosette is meant to be seen: on the door, in the window, on the wall and in the yearly guide.
The plaque
BESTNURU in gold on black, pearls set in the Rosettes. The year bar is replaced each year only if the shop keeps its level.
The window seal
For the glass door, so passers-by know before they walk in.
The certificate and medal
Presented at the ceremony, numbered and registered.
The yearly guide
Every winner, every level, every city, published each November.
The Nominee letter
Sent on 1 February to every shop on the shortlist, before the visits begin.

The founding list: a Selection from our own team's 2025 visits, made before the full method and the public ballot existed. From 2027, every Rosette comes through the ballot and three anonymous visits.

Principles
Independent, by design
- No shop can pay to be listed, ranked or awarded.
- We pay for every visit ourselves, and the shop never knows it's us until the open verification visit at the end.
- One verified person, one voice. Suspicious bursts of votes are frozen and reviewed.
- Therapists are never named, photographed or described. Award pages show shop-level facts only.
